"I have to say this place has the best ramen I've ever had. It speaks to my heart because I cannot go to Japan myself. We talked to what I can assume is the owner or manager so I know all the ingredients are from Japan! The price is really good for the amount of food you get. The presentation. I hardly photograph, but this place deserves the beautiful arrangements. The taste and smells made me feel giddy and how I was in Japan. The staff is beautiful, and you can really say that they are proud of any bowl that comes out. I would suggest this place because every Kenzo site is different. That's really important."

"We were a group of 10 friends out for a week-day lunch.Good points: Most of the food was fresh, tasty, prepared well. Some of hot dishes we ordered were fresh out of the fryer and nice and hot! The tempura and sushi rolls were my favourite menu items - they were good, nicely prepared, decent flavour. The service was pretty good, pretty quick. Based on the food alone, and the lunch price, I would eat here again.Bad points: Some of the food was kind of bland/boring/tasteless. For example, the wonton soup broth tasted like water with green onion in it. There was no "broth" taste, like chicken broth or beef broth, at all. The General Tao chicken was just sugary syrup sauce, very little heat. The ginger chicken was also just sugary syrup sauce with very little ginger flavour. Also, my friend had a birthday in December. They supposedly offer a free meal if your birthday was this month. When they brought the bills, my friend asked for her free birthday meal and they said no, because they had already printed out the bill. "Once is it printed out", they say, "the customer must pay". Apparently you have to state BEFORE your bill comes that you want a free birthday meal. We did not know that, so that was disappointing.I don't understand why they cannot reverse the bill in their cash register/computer once it's printed. I think that is stupid.I also post this to warn others expecting a free birthday meal - 1) declare it as soon as you walk in the door, and 2) declare it again when they ask about bringing the bill!!!!Otherwise a nice lunch out!! :)"
