"The burgers are really good...salads too. Lots of big screens to watch sports and booths for comfy seating. Good place for Police "Eye Candy"! ;) A lot of cops frequent this place so don't be startled if you see cruisers in the parking lot!"

"I lived on Longbranch Ave. in the 70's and visited this diner weekly. At that time it was owned by the present owners parents, George and Tina. They were more than just a good place to get your burger and fries, or breakfast or dinner, They always made you feel welcome and had time to talk. I could not imagine Long Branch or Etobicoke without them.I have since moved to Muskoka in 1983, and got back only rarely.Five years ago my husband and I had a chance to spend some time in Etobicoke, and decided to go into George the Greek (the little restaurant on the corner of Lakeshore and Longbranch). It had graduated from the little diner to quite a nice little restaurant.I asked the owner what had happened to George, and was told that he was George's son.We were very pleased to know that the family business had survived the years to a second generation. Even more pleased to find an expanded menu, every bit as delicious and generous as that of his parents. And the prices are very low for the quality and amount of the food you receive.I would not call it a fast food restaurant, but it does not take very long to have simple menu items reach your table. The more complicated meals do not take too long either, but any wait is well worth the time. Whenever we visit the area, we make it a point to eat at that cozy little restaurant, that for decades has been a go-to for us and many other people in the area. A true gem."
