"The watch on the shore has been as long as I can remember (this is over 10 years). it has always been called the clock, but has a few internal refreshments on the way. I can remember when this was the place to get a big fried olsammy or fabulous lunchtime rolls or subs."

"It is so refreshing to find something else than a chain restaurant in the ocean terminal. mr. nicks menu is simple and cheap for lunch, I have hunted in my chicken pit within minutes. the chicken was crispy and juicy, folded in a perfect pitta. the pommes were between and a little al dente, but that didn't bother me excessively. I followed my kebab with a huge serving of baklava, the ideal way to increase my butter and syrup levels (which I suspected were at all times low). I'll come back happy, the intention of the sea, the music and the authentic food will be as close as I come to Greece now."

"Mr Nicks is a lovely little place, competing against all of the usual high street garbage places dominating every city. This open-plan restaurant offers great food at a great price. Friendly staff here in this Greek Taverna meets kebab shop. The chicken gyros wrap was stuffed full and went down a treat, despite having a good portion I still wanted more. If visiting the harbour don’t go for the big chains go for Mr. Nicks that can only be found here and one new site in Glasgow."
