"So once in a while you feel like something different and today it was fish n chips. I had the halibut as I am not a big fish eater, but I must say it was very good. Over the years we have seen a lot of owners, simply put the food business is a tough one for a family owned place. Hi rent, hi costs, hi labour, that is a lot of fish and chips to sell. The fish was excellent, fries were like a chip wagon and the cole slaw was good as well. These small places try so hard and are in many cases much better than well established ones that just pump out grease and batter. An order of Halibut,fries,slaw and a pop was $17 out the door. There are enough fries for 2, which is norm to fill up the box. Everything was just really good and I hope more locals try the fish and chips to judge for themselves. I think it,s good and would have no issues to go back again."

"August 29, 2021Late night order (11:30ish) through Skip the Dishes really surprised me! Quarter chicken and rib dinner came with fries (or rice) plus one other side (I chose macaroni salad not shown in photo).Granted, they were side ribs, but so moist, meaty and flavorful and fall-off-the-bone perfect. Lovely spicy glaze!Definitely a better deal for ribs than some other places that I've tried. The ribs actually filled half the plate! The chicken was well cooked and equally delicious. For sure a go-to spot!"
