"I had Amercian friends over and took them to a old haunt of ours The Three Greyhounds. We have always rated this place and the food was always knockout. It was our fav place before Covid. We even bumped into John Bishop one night having a meal with his family. We loved it. We noticed the management had changed, but the bar remained the same and were pleasant enough, but nowhere near the warm welcoming atmosphere from the previous manager, Simon(? . It seemed to lack something, as soon as we walked in, that I couldn't put my finger on. We ordered the food which looked great on the menu. Although the food was pleasant enough, it was nowhere near the standard it used to be. It was £100 for 4 adult 2 children, and we would expect a higher than usual standard for the price. Sadly, it did not deliver. The food just wasn't served in a refined way, as it used to be, it was just average. The kids food was just a plate of chips and scampi, no veg (raw carrots, cucumber would have been a nice touch ...and it was dry. The steak sandwich was nicely cooked steak, but in toast! No refinement at all nice homecooked bread with a salad inside would have been nicer. Pleasant pub, but has fallen into the ranks of average and with so much competition, it needs to get back to fantastic (as it used to be ."

"Called in on spec as were in the area meeting family for drinks. Really nice little chippy in the centre of town serving quality chips, chicken nuggets, sausage, peas and gravy in plentiful amounts in a nice friendly place. A recommend from us and would call again !"

"Excellent service, delicious food and fairly good service overall. Can be a little slow when busy but generally very good. The ambience and decor of the place is lovely and there is a reasonably good selection of ales available. Certainly one of my favourite pubs in the Cheshire area."

"I really hope they have enough business. We stopped off here for some food and were amazed with the quality of service and food. With two fussy children they are very picky with what they eat. Both of them ate nearly all of their food! We will happily go here again. The place did seem quiet and I honestly believe its nothing to do with the staff or food quality! It's obviously nice as a customer, however I really hope this place has enough to keep afloat."

"What a lovely find! Not enough good reviews on this place. We came it across it staying at local hotel and what a great find it was. We turned up Friday night to a full pub and not booking but managed to squeeze us in and had a lovely meal. We were so impressed we went back Saturday after the races but booked before arriving. The meals were fantastic and boiling hot. The menu has a great selection and all freshly prepared. If you are thinking of going anywhere near it’s worth getting a Uber in and book before arriving. Thank you for an enjoyable experience and all the best! Hats off to the chef"

"What a disappointing visit tonight Called in at 6.05 pm today 29.04.22 for 2 fish and chips. The shop was very clean , the staff very polite, but the food fell far below standards. The fish cooked well but really greasy, the chips didn't appear to be cooked fresh and there were so many blackened chips it was not what I was expecting from a chip shop with so many award's"
