"Still open during lockdown in the evening, closing at 8pm. Only two allowed in the shop at a time, for social distancing, which is great, but I was the only customer in there at the time anyway and my fiance waited in the car. Lovely friendly staff. Ordered freshly battered large haddock with chips and mushy peas. Absolutely delicious, so fresh and clean tasting. The batter on the fish was lovely, not too thick and stodgy, just enough and crisp. Best fish and chips we have had for a long time! They do a variety of meals and homemade sauces too. It's obviously well looked run and we will be back!"

"Called in here during shopping on the 4th Saturday in April . Had english breakfast, sausage breakfast bap, americana flat white. Very friendly server and other staff f .Food looked ok apart from my fried egg which was very hard and over 5 cooked .Sausages adequate"

"I have been to a few chippies in Ruthin and this is hands down the nicest, freshly made food does take a little time but it is oh so worth it. The staff are amazingly friendly. We are regulars at this chippy and never go anywhere else. Would highly recommend."

"What a shame as it definitely used to be better than this. Food was hot and packaged well. That’s where the good points ended. Awful fish, stodgy and pale batter, I’ve had better supermarket oven fish and chips. The chips tasteless, dry and almost cardboard like. Will definitely not be returning."

"First time visit even though we're local and it was fab. Two young people serving who were lovely and worked well as a team preparing and serving the order. Food was cooked fresh to order, but didn't wait long, as I was asked if I was having fish as soon as I walked in. Batter was crispy and not too thick, fish tender, chips yummy. Good portion size and value for money. Option to sit in aswell. We'd definitely go again."
