"Went here for lunch with my wife, son and his partner and had a wonderful meal. we sat outside in one of the cabannas and were looked after by a young lady who was attentive without being intrusive. Due to driving only one of the party was drinking but he was very complimentary about his choice of beer. We had mains and desserts and weren't disappointed by any of our choices. The ladies had the Tuscan sausage, my son the haddock and chips and I had the steak. All good choices in their own right and the vegetables and salad which we ordered as sides were excellent.The desserts were equally good and overall the food was top notch.While the pub is a bit isolated it is well worth the trip.We will be returning."

"Average food, unfortunately just a cod/haddock by itself is pushing just under £10 so not the cheapest.. Also a bit tight with the cheese on the chips, just a small amount melted over one side. Store itself is at least very clean."

"We have visited many times over the years for large family get togethers, birthdays and smaller groups and always had a warm welcome and delicious meal. Today was no exception just the two of us for lunch me and my dad and the staff are really lovely, the lunch menu was superb (I recommend the chicken and ham pie in tarragon sauce and the fish and chips) and it was every bit as special as any time we’ve been. Thank you and we look forward to coming back again soon."

"The fish and chip lunch from Super Fryer did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked fish with lovely crispy batter, cooked to order. Chips and mushy peas were good too. Kids meals are very good value. Food was not greasy at all."
