"Decided to get fish and chips on Saturday night. I checked tripadvisor for reviews and found King Fish and Chips. We called in an order and went and picked it up. The couple who owns the restaurant were so friendly and helpful. The food was very good and big portions for the price. We will definitely return."

"Oh the Rhapsody burger (or the sliders! the best burger in town! The food is great and the staff are friendly. It’s a comfortable atmosphere that is quiet for lunch meetings or early evening family dinners. Go for later dinner with friends and hang around for the comedy night or live music. There are two sides to the restaurant. One side is more lounge with upholstered couches and high top tables and a bar. The larger side is for live music and comedy. It gets quite busy on the weekends. They make a good Old Fashioned! Enjoy! Downtown Kitchener is finally coming alive and glad there is this type of venue for office lunch crowd and the condo owners who want to walk to a good bar and restaurant."

"This spot is great for BreakfastThe portions are huge and very good ,the staff were very nice and the prices were reasonable.The decor is like a 50's diner with pictures of movie stars on the wall.A fun place to visit> recommend the Western Omelet."

"We live in the Forest Heights area of Kitchener and often stop at the Fish Hut for take out fish and chips. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is tasty. We were having adults and children for dinner on...Good Friday and decided to pre-order fish and chips to make the meal planning easy. Since Good Friday is their busiest day of the year, they have a few special policies for Good Friday: no eat in service...only take out serving only cod, haddock and halibut (no whitefish or shrimp) gravy and cole slaw are available but not onion rings you can pre-order ...we did and our order of family packs of fish and chips large gravy was ready exactly at as noted on our receipt"

"We had fish and chips and the quality was definitely the best you can get anywhere in the Cambridge/Kitchener/Waterloo area and the fish was a large portion as well. The menu was a fair choice of varieties. The staff are super friendly and cheerful plus the beer and beverage selection is excellent. An excellent turnaround by the new owners."
