"We had lunch at D'vine Morsels the other day. We have been wanting to try it for sometime and when we called, Sarah assured us we didn't need a reservation. The dining area is lovely, both inside and out. We opted to sit outside as...we were the only guests and the weather was wonderful. Sarah was very attentive and helpful with our menu choices. After we ordered, she came back with chilled glasses and a chilled bottle of water for us. We both ordered the haddock sandwich as the restaurant was out of lobster. This sandwich comes with a choice of salad, we had the sweet potato salad as a side. There is a wine sampler available and because we were driving, we shared a sampler of Petite Milo, Cheverie, Miller’s Creek. The Petite Milo was our favourite and we purchased a bottle to take home. Unfortunately, the haddock in my sandwich tasted old and had a very strong fish smell. My husband's sandwich was great, so we think that an old piece of fish must have gotten mixed in a batch of fresh fish. Other than that, the meal was very good and the service was excellent. I didn't say anything to our waitress about the fish because we were treated so well and it wasn't a big deal. I did mention it after we paid the bill as we felt that the restaurant may want to check their fish before serving it to someone else. We would come back to D'vine Morsels and to Avondale Winery."
