"I had one of the best meals at Landhaus Kuckuck in Cologne.My sister-in-law took me to this restaurant located inside a large park. The setting is very nice and elegant inside. It reminded me of a first class hotel restaurant. There are lots of cuckoo clocks on the walls. This place is ideal for a large groups since there are some separate rooms for a special occasion. But we were just four of us.I had a Dutch herring appetizer which was my liking, one of the best herrings I had. I liked the way they served. I always try to eat something I don't get easily in the States. So, I had a herring appetizer to begin. My main course was fried porcini in cream sauce which was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Cologne.It is an excellent restaurant."
