"We chose to come to the Original Jasmin. A nice size cafe with sufficient tables. It is close to the train station. Nicely decorated I believe the other Jasmin restaurants follow with the same decor. A friendly place with efficient service. Short wait time for meals to arrive. My friends both ordered No 44 on the menu while I chose No 51. A plate of pickled produce arrived before our meals which then arrived with the dips bread. Two of us ordered the home made lemon juice. All meals were nicely presented, looked excellent were. I would have preferred my lamb to be more rare, however it was still good. Two of us needed a doggie bag I can say that the remaining meal was still good the following day. I 'd come back try other dishes on the smallish menu. A most enjoyable meal in a popular quiet venue."

"We took our kids to celebrate birthday. After lunch the moment we opened the cake the reception lady came into say that she can’t give us plates for cake we didn’t even ask for one as we were happy to use serveits, just when we were singing happy birthday she said to other customers that she can’t hear because we were very loud in a very arrogant and loud voice. Very very bad experience. Our kids love this place ........ the food is good but staff needs training ..... this lady was never welcome but this time it was worse she didn’t even give number of manager when asked said she was the manager."

"My son Amilcar, my daughter Alyssar and I ended up eating at El Manara Lebanese Restaurant last week on Wednesday 30 December 2015 by pure coincidence as we followed a car mechanics who moved from Mascot to Willey Park to get Amilcar's car serviced. We were then hungry and stopped in Lakemba for a bite.It was actually a good coincidence as we were very well served great authentic food, in large quantities and for very moderate prices. Have a bite there if you are in Lakemba or in any neighboring suburbs!!"
