"We have tried the ever changing menu 4 times now, and we order different dishes. The decor is great and we had good service (especially last night). On the other hand, the food is a lottery. I ordered goose leg confit which translates to cooked for 4 hours at low temp to the point that it has caramelised and the meat just falls off the bone and melts in your mouth . Nope! Bone dry and bad taste, could not eat half of it as could not cut the meat (tried knife and my own teeth). My husband venison was nice apparently. They made the customer-first gesture of not charging us for my dish, which was appreciated and a bit of a relief. While the concept of changing the menu completely each week is fun, the chef has to prepare new dishes all the time so doesn 't get the chance to practice. Maybe changing every month would ensure better consistency?"

"This new restaurant in Utrecht was welcoming from walking through the door! The roaring log fire, the subtle lighting and the friendly staff made this a very relaxed Sunday evening. This was only surpassed by the quality of the food (we had the rib eye glazed in bone marrow) which was amazing. The owner also suggested a great wine to accompany the food (Neropasso) which I would highly recommend. All in all a fantastic evening out and we will definitely be back to try our the other dishes. Really a refreshing new experience in Utrecht after all the trendy themed restaurants great quality honest food with brilliant service and atmosphere!"

"The perfect place to have a date dinner. With a group of 38 people we had our own separate room with our own music without disturbing other restaurant guests. A beautiful atmosphere with beautiful service, we had a 4-course-gend menu where the cook made, with a healthy delicious menu with meat, veggi and vegan food. The only note is that it was a low carb dinner, and while we had an open bar for 3 hours some of us had not until the next bar... Al together a beautiful place in downtown Utrecht for larger group memories (with the possibility of several preferences; Veggi, vegan etc."

"I went to eat here with my husband and we had a four course meal. Since it is the summer we were seated in garden and it was absolutely beautiful! It gave me the feeling of when we were travelling in Tuscany and we sat outside each night, the garden is truly beautiful and there is enough seating out there that you don't have to fight for a table. The food is very creative and the wine menu is done very well. In my starter which was raw mackerel in a chilled cucumber soup, I missed a bit of strength separation in the taste and it ended up tasting mostly of the soup. With our main course which was a white fish with (pardon the bad translation) stewed meat' we had a chilled red wine, which was surprising and delicious. If you eat here I recommending getting coffee or tea after dinner they have a fantastic plate of chocolates and home made macaroons that are drool worthy The service here was very fast, in terms of the staff being very attentive and making sure we were comfortable. Our glasses were never empty and everyone was kind and courteous."

"A fantastic restaurant. it is so rare to find a place where eating is so excellent quality while at the same time the environment is very relaxed and family-friendly. the decor is beautiful. there is a great atmosphere that was personal friendly and professional. there is a toy library for small children and a large outdoor area. the place I wish I lived here!"
