"This is by far the best little restaurant and bar we have ever been to! The decor inside to the adorable outdoor patio outside provided us an incredible dining experience. These chefs are talented in their profession and the bartender mixed the beer drink I’ve ever had! You pay a premium but the experience was well worth every bite of our amazing food and delicious drinks!"

"We were very satisfied with everything in the village social in the biltmore estate. the food was deliciously prepared and was plentiful. our waitress was helpful and friendly and the ambiente was perfect for a quiet couple of dinners. I chose the red wine ventageo to accompany my meal. it was more of a dessert wine and I think that either the server or the menu should have pointed to it. it was very similar to a port wine tasty, but a bit sweet to accompany my meal."

"My friend researched restaurants to celebrate my birthday knew it had to be maine lobster. the background on this restaurant was perfect, but the reality was disappointing. my lobster roll was filled with salat, with lobster pieces on top. I get more lobsters from the lobster truck of the cousin, for half the price! the server was great. I hope the owners/partners take to know that this could be a great restaurant, but it needs some attention. it is wonderful to get maine lobster in asheville, but the small details can make a restaurant or break."

"Our expectations for this one were good and it was a nasty surprise what we found. As a local, we've always heard that this restaurant was good. however, we could say that this has been by far the worst dinning experience we have had in the last 4 years. The food was average good, the presentation for the dishes was very poor, honestly looked like the food was thrown in our plates without any consideration of how it should be presented. Flavors were ok, but we weren't impressed. Now, the worst part of the night was the service. Our server was not taking the time to properly serve us. He forgot TWICE about our order, we never asked about our drinks and when we asked for the wine to be our dishes companion, he FORGOT again. So, we ate cold, without wine and in a bad mood because of this experience. Off course, as we could expect, the prices for this food are not cheap. I won't say they are the more expensive ones, but it is above the average price for nice dinning in Asheville. As I mentioned before, we are local foodies. We like to go at least once a week to a new restaurant in town. Modesto is in our list of NOT visiting again."

"Great dog-friendly terrace with amazing service delicious food! we have chosen this place, just that it is located within a counter where we felt comfortable, and it was dog-friendly (we visited by michigan.) and it has fulfilled our expectations. cute terrace with heating, fire pit not annervig-laut live music. eating decent wine list was tasty-have to get the kornbrot. our dog has made great on the terrace. very appreciated the hospitality, eating atmosphere."
