"They celebrate my man's birthday and called ahead to arrange a recognition, and they had no notice and not even a word to him. that was very bad this time. steak was hard and dry (order medium rare,) order went back twice because it was wrong. lobster cock was over boiled and taste was extremely underwhelming. I'm sad to say that we could wait to get from there, and probably won't come back."

"My son and I decided on a take out meal of fish and chips. I'd completely forgotten about this place. We used to come here when I was much younger. Its still awesome. the fish and chips are awesome! Staff is friendly and polite. I love this place!!!"

"Second time here. Just as good as the first. Incredibly fresh seafood. Oysters are top notch (about $3 each). I had a monk fish dish prepared with curry over rice as the market catch. Just excellent. This is a place I not only like to go but also one I would think of to recommend to others or take others. Well done!!"

"I went for lunch recently with two others. The service was friendly and prompt, the view was incredible, the restaurant clean, and our booth comfortable. My two colleagues enjoyed their meal, and reported that it was very good. I had the poached egg salad, which I wouldn't get again. The poached egg was almost uncooked (translucent egg white), which I imagine was the way it was supposed to be served...I just don't like uncooked egg. The salad had minimal dressing, so I was still hungry afterwards. I would go again, but wouldn't have that same salad next time."

"Went based on people raving about this place being the best fish & chips in the city. Located in strip mall, lots of parking available. We were the only patrons in restaurant on a friday night. Service was just ok, not attentive, never asked if refill on drinks. We each had a different fish on menu. I had the cod, portion was small, were lots of fries. There was too much batter on fish, and could not taste fish. other person was with liked the mushy peas and stated this was highlight of meal."

"Dave & Nancy's was recommended to us by a friend at work. We dined-in on Jan.20th - it didn't disappoint. The batter was crispy but didn't overwhelm the fish (there's nothing worse than a mouthful of oily batter with a tiny bit of fish! Thank you for having a great balance of fish to batter!). The tartar sauce was great as well. The only thing I would ask for is more of the coleslaw that came on the side - it was only about 2 mouthfuls and was kind of a tease! (You can of course order a side of slaw, but if there's some on the plate already, a bit of a bigger serving size seems appropriate). We liked that Dave & Nancy were very hands-on in their restaurant, helping out their staff and checking up on things. We witnessed Dave realizing he'd given the wrong take-out order to a customer, and Nancy ran out into the rain to look for him in the parking lot - that's dedication! We're looking forward to our next visit / take-out. Thanks!"
