"Wow, I can't believe I'm the first Yelper to review the Oregon. What can I say, nice businesses attract more nice places! I heard that the chef was from another very reputable place in Ste-Rose that's been doing very well. Everything we ate was super good, and they had quite a nice selection of gin and my girlfriend and I had great Gin Tonic. We were there on Thursday's happy hour and the place really started to get packed around 8pm. The ambiance is a bit too surgical for my taste (especially on the dinning room section). The bar side is very nice and the open kitchen is also very nice. I'm wondering if they'll be able to so something about a terrasse this summer, and I trust that they'll take the next few months to come up with a creative answer for that. I'll be back, as a nice walking distance place is too cool!"

"Depuis très longtemps mes beaux-parents nous faisaient l'éloge de ce restaurant qu'ils fréquentent régulièrement. Nous sommes donc allés en famille pour un anniversaire. Le menu est très varié, nous avons l'embarras du choix, mais je ne pouvais pas passer à côté du fish'n chips, en plus d'une entrée de calmars que nous avons partagée mon conjoint et moi. Je n'ai pas été décue d'un plat comme de l'autre. Les calmars étaient parfaitement cuits (pas caoutchouteux) servis avec une belle petite salade et une sauce un peu épicée. Le fish'n chips quant à lui est délicieux, panure légère, belle présentation et bien chaud. L'assiette 1 morceau est amplement suffisante. Le choix de vins n'est pas très large mais suffisant et abordable. Je n'ai pas pris de dessert mais ceux qui en ont pris dans notre groupe n'avaient que de bons commentaires. Le service a été rapide, efficace et courtois. Mais la surprise pour moi et mon conjoint fut que étant dans la fin cinquantaine, nous nous sentions bien jeunes... comparés à la clientèle.Les réservations se font seulement pour 6 personnes et plus selon ce qu'on nous a mentionné."

"Excellent on the whole line! We had a great evening! atmosphere, wine, food, service and wine; Everything was A1!We took oysters in the entrance as well as the pear poached, ricotta, balsamic, hazelnuts. soft and fresh. perfect for a summer start. I took the fish of the day that was a halibut and was tasty. all deposited on a very tasteful vegetable duxel. My friend took the ravioli with mushrooms that were excellent too.The wine was also delicious. Private import. The dessert was something and you have to try it! a perfect dulce of leche, granite vodka coffee, crumble to coffee. It's really great to finally have a restaurant like this in the area. We'll be there for sure! Long life in the oregon!"
