"I am never disappointed in the food here. Last night we enjoyed the eggplant rollups for an appetizer and our main courses were the swordfish special and the macadamia encrusted halibut. All were delecious. The service is usually great but sometimes, like this past evening, it left much to be desired. The weather was nice so we opted to sit outside on the patio, which was delightful. Unfortunately we were seated next to a party with a very large dog that seemed to get in everyone's way and receive constant reprimands from his owner. I love dogs more than people and it was sad to see that dog put in a situation where there was just not enough room for him with guests and servers This continues to be one of my favorite restaurants!"

"First time trying this place and it was great. Staff was friendly. Food was good. The drinks were good. The place has a great atmosphere. Great decor. Has a family section and a bar area. The restroom was very clean and wheelchair accessible. They also have a family restroom which is great for people with kids. Ample parking. Located right on the main street into Long Beach. We went on a busy Saturday and they warned us they were a little short staffed, but they did great. Will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Long Beach!"

"I highly recommend The Cove at the Golf Course Peninsula. The food was absolutely phenomenal, although they were extremely busy and understated for the day. I had the Swiss dip that was so tasteful; it was the best diving sandwich I ever had. Hold by and use this gastronomic treasure. Whether you're a foodie, gourmand or just someone who desires great and tasty comfort food, The Cove is an excellent choice!"

"Nice that this place was open on Monday to celebrate a birthday dinner. The rack of the Lamb was generous, inexpensive and tasty. The staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. Next time, I will not disturb the antipasto plate, as the selection had too much vinegar for my taste. I am also back with the facility, which is dated and easily worn in the 1960s. Maybe that was what it was unique and charming in its own way."
