"We showed up at 5:30. In the past we have had problems with items on the menu being unavailable and the first thing we jokingly asked about was what was not available. Turned out the meatloaf my husband wanted was not available. I was looking forward to the St Louis ribs. They came half cooked and with very little meat on them. I sent them back and asked for Quesadeia instead. It was dry and had very little filling. This is not a cheap restaurant and we were looking forward to a nice night out but were very disappointed by the experience. This was one of our favorite restaurants. The waiter was good but it will be a very long time before we are back."

"Dependably Yummy. Okay....the restaurant isn't all that fancy. We have lunch there once and a while, and it's clean, and the service is friendly.<br/ <br/ Typically we get our fish to take out, we usually get the Cod and Chips. Chips are homemade, fish is nicely cooked with crisp, not too thick batter. Coleslaw tends to be a bit dry, but only for takeout, in the restaurant it's fine.<br/ <br/ I've had the chowder a few times, and it's a bit too thick for my taste, but the flavour is excellent. All in all, I think that Austin is a solid option for Fish and Chips with good value for money. (On a recent visit I saw a diner eating french fries with chili. I'll have to try that....it looked really good!"
