"My beautiful wife and children celebrated their birthday at the Deep Cove Chalet. The dinner started well enough with a fireplace seat, a bit attentive service, but then disintegrate when the host took it to herself for the lecture and that our children received giggling... two complaints and we were to control their noise levels. Open and loudly chastizing customers are unacceptable and it ruined the celebration. She was embarrassed and stole the occasion. The meal was moderate and the room was extremely tired. We were the only indigenous people or colours in the room under 65 years of age and it felt racist. I would never return, never recommend the restaurant and wish it negative star rating."

"Have been a few times now and always have had the halibut and chips. Always been good and the service as long as not the lunch hour) great. Can get slow during the rush but they are pretty good at keeping up."
