"There are simply no words to describe the incredible artistry of this restaurant. From the sedate entry to the stunning dining room, the experience of dining in this incredible establishment is beyond compare to any dining opportunity one might have. We made our reservations months in advance, and we had already planned to partake of the tasting menu all ten courses and we were not disappointed. We also chose the wine paired version, and the sommeliers selected incredible wines. There were also three additional dishes that were not in the printed menu, and they just added to the perfection of the entire meal. The menu does change on a regular basis based on ingredient availability and the seasons. And every ingredient is treated thoughtfully. And every ingredient is perfectly delicious. This is a dining adventure, and it is meant to be savored in both time and taste. There was not a single time in this evening that we felt wanting for anything. And, thankfully, the portions are small to allow for enjoyment of the meal without feeling outrageously full. My simple advice if you have the opportunity when in Oslo, make the reservation to enjoy everything that is offered. It is not to be missed!!!!!"

"My first experience in alex sushi soli eating was good (many interesting options on the menu service was slow (Nizza staff, but had to wait with empty teller and glasses before someone get alert, on a not so busy Monday I liked the location (divided table around the kitchen like a sushi bar without proper ventilation. all our clothing smells like frittieröl fullindruck: overrated and overpriced and no proper choice for romantic restaurants."

"Very unique experience definitely would recommend if you’re visiting Oslo! It’s tucked on a side street next to a beautiful plaza and when you walk inside you’re transported to a different time. I came at lunch and it was fairly packed with locals and tourists. I ordered the shrimp toast and it was delicious!"

"I’m still realizing how perfect of a dinner I had! THE SALMON is an amazing restaurant, in a beautiful location right by the Oslo Fjord! The waiters are so nice, especially a girl from Poland who I unfortunately can’t recall the name of! The grilled salmon was astonishing, especially the potato cream underneath! Prices are good for what you get! They even offer pile blankets if you eat outside! 10/10 for hospitality and food! I’ll surely come back whenever in Oslo!"

"Food, service and atmosphere are the most important factors! The food was extremely tasty, and we were very satisfied except from the purple inagri. The greens set and the Nordic set menus were great to a taste of many different things. The summer rolls were extra fresh in the taste due to the unusual use of fruits like mango and pineapple. However, we have to deduct some points due to the inaccuracy of delivering the wrong order to the kitchen even though we were the only two people in the restaurant. This was also quickly resolved and the correct orders arrived pretty fast The atmosphere, the interior and the friendliness was impeccable. We love the representation of japandi minimalism in the way the restaurant is decorated Worth a visit!"

"We had a medium kontrast menu. Food and wine-pairing were outstanding. The service was excellent. They had no problems adapting the menu to allergens. All in all, we had an excellent evening here. If there is anything that we would have liked differently, it would be the food presentation. The staff come from different countries and speak different levels of English, so when you try to pronounce difficult Norwegian names and ingredients, it can be difficult to understand it well. The other thing that would have been nice would be to receive a copy of the menu to take home."

"We started the tradition in our group of friends to go to a dinner to a chic place where we would not go on Friday. every month another person decides the place that was first selected smia gallery. 5 meals and wine/beer menu were sampled. I have not made a picture of the food they have to go and see of themselves I personally think: super nice atmosphere, place has charm, people who work there beautiful, can do the table and the great work. as a main course I chose halibut, my favorite fish ever, but it was just good, factor wow was missing and they need wow to give up space with trips like here 5 stars."
