"An incredible meal and experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and yet non-intrusive. We chose the tasting menu and the food and service were spectacular. It was a true experience where my wife and I felt we got to know the staff and chef through our interactions, food, and wine. At the end of the night, we got to thank the head chefs and our servers for an unforgettable evening. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of food and service. As someone who often toils in the shadows for my profession, I would like to thank everyone at The Prune for bringing genuine joy and delight at each course and over the evening. It made our date weekend so special and we can never repay that. We will definitely be back and can't wait for what is not just a meal, but a true experience at your restaurant again."

"Fish and chips (dedicated fryer) The food was great. Service was good and friendly! Separate GF menu, that was clear and had a lot of choice. Has an upright freezer for freezing to take home gluten-free meals and bakes. Recommend this place!"

"August 25, 2022 When visiting Prince Edward Island plan at least 1 or 2 days in Charlottetown. You might like to enjoy lunch or dinner at the wharf. . . many good spots such as Peake’s Quay Restaurant! My wife in I stopped in for lunch! Summer months with good weather sunshine bring the crowds, still a great spot for adult beverages good food! You might hear some live music, or the guy playing the bag pipes as the cruise ships dock! We ordered up a free tropical drinks and beer as we waited for our food. Relax, enjoy the view, and music of PEI. Yes, our seafood entrees were very good! Over all, a nice place to eat in the summer! I’d rate higher than 4.5, but as you move into “ off season “ fewer hours, fewer days open! Now in the fall, only open 1 day ?"

A small walk (5 minutes) to the Festival Theatre in Stratford, the grounds are stunning, it’s a theatre and book lovers dream, and the 25-hour cookie line is a spectacular surprise … incredible cookies on demand. The restaurant dinner (halibut) was sumptuous and the included breakfast was incredible. The best gluten free bread! We cannot express the top-notch service that for a one-night stay for the theatre feels like a week luxury retreat on the soul.
