"Tried on a whim. Walking past on a Friday night, my husband likes food from the Middle East and noticed they were making their own pita. Really unique flavors. I had the eggplant, with pine nuts, he had Moroccan Fish in tomato pepper sauce. The Israeli cheesecake (we split) was a surprise hit, just order it.Vegetarian options: I went eggplant"

"Very nice restaurant, service, and food. The hostess was very inviting and quickly seated us. Our waitress gave us recommendations on what to eat. The skate was FABULOUS and was cooked perfectly! We also had the halloumi cheese, and I would certainly order it again. Overall, this quaint little restaurant will not disappoint."

"This is a very prestigious place great for meetings, high tea, and for a pampering spa day. I met with a friend for high tea and sandwiches. The whole display they brought out was simply beautiful and the atmosphere is elegant and artsy. I recommend dressing for the occasion as you might feel a bit out of place if you go too casual. The staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful. One thing that would be nice, is if they gave an option for more sandwiches or more deserts on the tower with high tea, but everything was amazing so I'm not complaining. I hope to take friends here when they visit they just take it a step up and I felt so taken care of."

"Ema is a delightful Mediterranean spot for brunch or any meal of the day. There are a variety of options on the menu so there is sure to be something for everyone. The flavor profile of each dish is immaculate and the service is great. Our table ordered afew dishes with the starter being a trio of dips with pita bread. All of the dips were absolutely delicious so I'd highlyrecommend ordering this to start off. Next, we got this dish that resembled risotto but i cannot remember the name. It was sogood that I'd come back just for that dish. Lastly, I had the falafel sandwich which was good but a bit dry. I would have likedthere to be more sauce included so I ended up ordering some on the side. My main entrée did not stand out the way the startersdid but I still left satisfied nonetheless. If you're in the River North area and would like to try some Mediterranean foodthen I'd highly recommend stopping by for a nice lunch. Bonus: I saw the mayor of Chicago the day I went, so that's cool."

"I love the idea of this place the decor is really cute , ambiance is dope. Our waitress/ bartender had a great attitude and was friendly. My only 2 complaints were 1. My hookah was very weak not sure if it was packed enough or what but it was not smoking and everytime I inhaled the coals would move and eventually a hit coal fell on our table..never had this happen to me so I’m unsure of what was going on. 2. They had us scan the menu when we first got there so we clicked on cocktails and it said green tea shots were $5 it wasn’t under a special tab nor did it say anything else other than the price..when our bill came the shots were listed as $9 and they told us the $5 price was a special for st Patrick’s day.. we didn’t feel like going back and forth so we just paid but that was very shady to me also I didn’t like that there was automatic gratuity that we were not made aware of…these things left a bad taste in my mouth for sure"

"Incredible dinner spot! We loved the happy hour drinks specials, especially the Kir Royale and the French 75. The food has all been delicious, even if portions are a bit on the small side. Service is immaculate!Special shout out to these dishes: Duck Confit our favorite dish Bread w/ Butter perfect Ribeye special like butter Cheesecake with lemon and berries scrumptious!"
