"I've probably eaten here around 5 times. First off the food in general is really good, big helpings of fairly good quality food. They have an extensive menu of interesting sandwiches and burgers to choose from and when they can coordinate themselves properly it's all good, particularly the curly fries and burgers. On a weekday lunch time however all hell breaks loose. I have tried several different ways of ordering. Once we phoned in the order, arrived and they had no recollection of said order. A few times I have stood in line and ordered, usually waiting around 45 minutes for the food. Another time a work order was placed and they simply forgot my sandwich. If properly managed they could be an even bigger success but from my own experiences they have a business structure that isn't working. If you compare the waiting times to the other various fried goods vans around the industrial estate you find the usual waiting time on a weekday lunch can range between 5 minutes to maybe 15 minutes maximum. If you have a spare hour or more to spend during lunch to get your food then this is the place for you."

"This place has gone downhill. The prices are very high and the standard of the food has dropped since Pete left. I just had a chicken and mushroom pie, it was cold and had a soggy bottom. Chips were double cooked and very greasy. I will certainly go elsewhere if I want pie and chips again. Girl behind the counter kept pushing her hair behind her ears and then serving someone(fortunately not me). Staff members had not tied their hair back. Although the service was ok, the quality of food was not."

"BRILLIANT.... slight hiccup at the end but all sorted (there were 16 of us) A double retirement ...... in the side room. Our waitress was lovely.....very patient. The food was lovely. Cannot wait to.return. Bringing hubby for Father's Day."

"I had dinner while I was on a flight. the personal is polite and attentive. I ordered a chicken dish full of taste. it was cooked nicely and delicately. I didn't have to wait long until the staff brought the food. before I sat, they said that the waiting period is 15 minutes. they add no service fee to the bill."

"Great service with great coffee. It is very refreshing to to engaged by staff, chatted with and asked how everything was. It started when I waited at the entrance for a member of the team to take me to a table. Waiting staff were all busy so the Barista caught my eye and took me to a table. This was excellent customer service. Didn’t eat a lot, just needed coffee and toast as I needed a quick break as I was picking a friend up . Cappuccino was sublime, best I have had in a while. Giraffe is quieter than Cafe Nero and the others here, don’t let that fool you. This was my first time and I will be back. Thank you team."

"Food was nice and catered well for gluten and lactose allergy. They were asking customers before ordering whether they had an allergy, which is great. The manager also went through the allergens and ingredients with me for each item I wanted to order to ensure they were safe, and she said the kitchen would be made aware of the allergies and prepare the food separately to minimise the risk of cross contamination perfect!"
