"I have been going to this restaurant on a regular basis for several years. On my last visit my friend and I ordered calves liver, when it arrived and we started to eat it, we realised that not only did it look like lambs liver but tasted of it too. There is a distinct difference between both. (Not just in taste and texture but in price as well) A total misinterpretation on the menu. We called the waiter over who shouted at us and laughed in our faces. The manager did not do anything to put it right, we would have had more respect for them if they had admitted it, instead they were rude and arrogant. Will never go to this restaurant again."

"On a first aid course with St John's Ambulance I got in early to avoid the traffic and decided to find somewhere to have breakfast. And what a gem Cobbs was! Lovely coffee they happily tweaked the veggie breakfast without egg for me and it was so delicious : Plenty to eat so much so, that I needed to take some away for lunch later. Very friendly accommodating. Well worth a visit!"

"Love this place! funky decor, really friendly staff and wonderful eating. I loved the small sitting area near the ice garden and the American Diner booth. they also make cocktails and milkshakes with a lot of different chocolates. the burgers are really excellent and the knickerbocker was delicious."

"On Potters Bar High Street. Should be parking depending when you arrive. Weekdays fine. Mainly lamb, all kinds of ways, chicken and fish. The Special for two is good but I suggest , if if there are four of you. Pick the Special for two, the others do not have starters as there is a small selection of Mezes with the Special plus a big portion of mixed salad and rice with it. Enough for four! Then the other two pick the cheapest mains they like and all share the Special! Special consists of chicken shish, lamb shish, two lamb chops, lamb ribs, minced lamb sausage . My suggestion is for economic eating as the Special may be too much for two. They will supply a doggy bag. Food is hit and miss. The lamb was great but the chicken too dry. The whitebait seemed unevenly cooked, see photo). Mains not generous though the Monkfish shish was nice. Attentive and friendly staff. This appears to be expensive area. Some drinks and food prices high. £3.95 for spirits. Cheapest bottle of wine approx £18. Overall not to bad an experience. Good staff/ doggy bag , for the Special). Hit and miss with the food."
