"Lovely, clean, light and airy decor with the odd quirky twists. Greeted quickly by friendly staff. Ordered The Ross and was surprised at the size of the meal but were assured that they could arrange for us to take away any leftovers. Served in a timely manner. Food very tasty and hot. Excellent value for money. All staff helpful and approachable. Great relaxed experience and they even had festive toilet paper!"

"Table for 7 booked a couple of weeks ago. 3 out of 7 starters cold, so returned . Calamari was not good. Ordered mains at the same time as the starters, but only informed no pie left, not at this point, but not long before mains came out, so one of the guests had to quickly choose a different main course. Another side order came out as plain chips, should have been upgraded Katsu curry fries, so had to be sent back. Ordered a stacker burger, which didn’t arrive with the rest of the order, and had to inform them what the missing meal was when they saw one of the party didn’t have a main meal in front of them, so they asked what what was missing, hence the rest of the party had finished, and others nearly finished their mains before the burger was then cooked and sent out. Chicken on chicken and chorizo salad very dry. Have been to Woodys on several occasions, and always had good food and service…..unfortunately not last night! Totally spoilt birthday celebrations, and based on last night’s food will certainly not be in a hurry to return."

"Cannot recommend this cafe enough! I had a vegan friend visiting from up north and popped in on a whim assuming a vegetarian cafe would have a couple of vegan options. To our delight, almost every single dish on the varied lunch menu could be served as a vegan version. About 15+ options for her to choose from very impressed. The staff member serving us was so polite, professional and friendly, and pricing was fair and great value for the beautiful quality of the homemade meals we enjoyed. What a find!"

"Took my daughter here for her 17th with the family tonight having ordered 5 meze's when booking so plenty of notice to get all the food ready. Arrived at 6pm had 2 small salads olives dips and flat bread brought to us quite quickly so good star but unfortunately that's where the amazing meze experience I promised my daughter for her birthday ended. We ate all that in good order then waited 10 mins for them to bring 2 small plates of hallumi slices and one small plate of Cheese in vine leaves, at theat in seconds, then waited 10 mins for a small bowl of garlic mushrooms. (nothing like only having a couple of sliced mushrooms on yer plate and nothing else to go with it. Then waited another 10 minites before getting throughly annoyed at the lack of food coming that I apologised to my daughter and decided to leave. 3 people working young lady and lad and the obvious Greek guy on the BBQ, they spent most of the time we were there funneling food out to the lads coming in for deliveries, we counted 5 in the time we were waiting between the salad and the mushrooms. Not enough focus on the customers inside, 7 of us and just one other couple. When Gabby owned it, I had a meze there and we couldn't eat the food quick enough before the next course was on the table, and there were 20 in just our party and the restaurant was heaving, she had no trouble handling us all, very joyous night with her. Greeted us when we walked in, constantly chatting with us, plate smashing and even dancing outside on the street to grrek music. Now??? Ericos never even said hello and threw his hands up when I told him I was disappointed, sayi g give it him half price... Erm for 2 salads 10 hallumi sticks, flat bread olives mushrooms and cheese vine leaves £55 don't think so. Bored of writing now so gonna go, typed this having taken my girl to KFC instead and waiting in the car park for our order. Won't be going back."

"The sea queen is a superb place that has about everything you expect from a good chippy. Parking is very easy, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. They recently Started making a few home made items like Yorkshire fish cakes and a chilli sauce to die for. I recommend you give them a try."

"This place has gone downhill drastically since my last visit. The service was very slow and the food average at best. Also, there was a 45 minute wait on the food when the pub wasn't busy and whilst the other 2 tables had already been served there food. It's a shame as it used to be a really good pub."
