"This is our local fish and chop shop and usually we drive to another one as we didn’t have a great experience with this one a few years ago. Thought we’d try it again. Fish was lovely and fresh with light batter but the chips tasted like they’d been sat there for hours, they were all tiny crispy little chips, not potatoey chips so quite disappointed, especially for £17 something for 2 fish and chips and a battered sausage. This was 6pm so at peak time so would expect fresher chips. Would try again as 3rd time luckily but if it’s disappointing for a third time will probably give up."

"I dined there on 14/11/2023 and was disappointed by the experience. It left me questioning the reviews. Despite arriving during opening hours, my companion and I waited until 3:20 for our food. The service could have been better, with waiters disappearing, and the food tasted off and rancid, lacking authentic Lebanese flavours. Portions were small, and prices were high. The only positive was a clean environment. I cannot recommend the restaurant due to poor service and subpar cuisine. Afterall, it's mainly a shisha lounge."

"Saw a flyer for Healthy Lane in the new Buzz Gym after a workout session. Thought this would be worth a try as I was very hungry by now and did not think Buzz Gym would advertise for them if the food was not healthy. Everything on the menu sounded tasty and was very tricky to choose. I had a Roobios tea sweetened with honey, great combination. I finally made my choice of chicken kale wrap. This was amazing. Tasty mixed salad on the plate with a generously stuffed wrap of chicken and salad. This really tickled my taste buds, bursting with flavour. I just wish I had a larger stomach so I would be able try more of the choices on the menu ! I will have to wait until my next visit. Everything is cooked fresh to order so there is a little wait involved but you always have the option of phoning in advance. So if you thought healthy meant tasteless, you must come here to be proved wrong ! I will definitely be returning for some great food."

"One of the few places in swindon you can eat barbecue style. very happy with the portions and the quality of eating. the service was in order, though sometimes somewhat slow. bark brisket and pulled pork are excellent, and the philly cheesesteak is very nice. if they are after a challenge, the hahn from meat plate is a animal. make sure they have an appetit before the order!"

"We hired the conservatory at the Cross Keys for a naming ceremony for our babies and the staff could not have been more attentive. The location is beautiful and the room was perfect for what we wanted Karianne allowed us to go in the night before to set up/ decorate exactly how we liked, and as the room opened up onto the patio/ garden we were then able to use this as it was such a lovely day. They also provided the catering (we opted for a pizza buffet from the wood fired pizza oven) which was amazing, and much more reasonably priced compared to a lot of the quotes we’d received from other venues. I’d even forgotten that we had a vegan coming, but Karianne was more than accommodating and provided her with an additional meal free of charge! Thank you to the Cross Keys all of the staff for enabling us to hold the perfect event here!"

"The food was great and the staff was polite and friendly. the host was very accommodating, although we asked ourselves to change our table twice. I struggled with the app with the order of our meal (my own inability, but it was over 20 minutes before we got our meal and I could wait for it to serve on the food sluke. toilets looked clean, but smelled like foul (one of the reasons why we asked to change tables when we sat very close to them"
