"Came here with my wife for a late breakfast on a lazy Sunday afternoon. We had noticed it the night before, a small, unassuming little bakery located next to the Sunset Grill at the Blue Mountain Village.Unlike Sunset Grill, which had a huge line-up, this little bakery wasn't crowded, but had its share of patrons. There were a few tables there, suited for couples, families or even mid-sized groups (i.e. 6-8 people).We walked in, and were greeted by a warm and charmingly-decorated bakery.I ordered the Big Brekkie sandwich with a regular black coffee, while my wife ordered a Parisian ham and cheese sandwich (they had run out of croissants).The sandwiches weren't cheap (which is expected at a resort), but were fairly large, and (more importantly) delicious. The coffee was nice and strong as well, providing the caffeine jolt I needed to start my day.The sandwiches were brought out by the staff, who were very warm and friendly, chatting with us about how nice the Christmas decorations in the village were this year.It certainly made for an enjoyable start to our day, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good sandwich, and doesn't want to wait next door!"

"They have beautiful pills of baking, but most likely some of them comes from the freeze cabinet. would not pay $3,50 for a previously frozen cookie or brownie. I can pull a bake out of my own freezer. the whole point of going to a bake cafe is to get fresh food freshly frozen is not the same. sell their frozen items at a reduced price or include a label that lets customers know they came out of the freeze cabinet. When I came out and realized that it was frozen, I went back and asked to return, and the owner said no and thought it was completely reasonable and not misleading to sell frozen baked goods. will not go back. ask what is fresh when they buy. I get it would be difficult to keep a large selection of fresh baking available, but personally would be much happier with a reduced sort to get something fresh."

"There's nothing better than their cranberry walnut sourdough bread spread with a good quality unsalted butter. When we come to Collingwood, it is usually for a week and during that time we finish off at least three of these loaves and pick one up to...take home. Best ever we've tasted!!"

"Stopped in while my husband went for gas next door. I was the only one in line and was completely ignored. A gentleman walked in and was assisted at a closed till. I moved to the closed till to get served. No apology, barely an...acknowledgement. Took longer to get cups of coffee than to fill a gas tank and pick me up."
