"This seems to be the place to have toast and coffee for breakfast, as it is always busy first thing. It is at the top of the Avenida so there is plenty going on. Very reasonably priced for a couple of tosta mixtas (ham and cheese toasted sandwich) and a beer and a glass of wine just 7.70. Lots of cakes to choose from if you have a very sweet tooth!"

"This was recommended to us by staff at our hotel. The cakes are all locally made by what looks like a family run business. We had tried traditional cakes elsewhere but these were definitely the best and the coffee was good too. Don’t be put off by the state of the building."
