"I have recently visited the Haggerston Tearooms for the first time, this is situated in a quite square just minutes from the station, there is a seating area outside but I elected to sit inside as I was meeting some friends. We had toasted sandwiches filled with ham and cheese and prickel followed by an excellent homemade Victoria spong which was freshly made on the premises, there is also quite a wide variety of teas available. The Tearooms have a lovely ambiance and the manger Nuala is very friendly, this is a real hidden gem."
