I really liked their spacious warehouse style interiors with friendly staff on site. I am not really a huge fan of brunch but we ended up having their famous 'Eggs and Waffle Benedict ' $18 and 'Crab Scramble ' $24 .<br/ .<br/ Eggs and Waffle Benedict Basically a waffle stuffed with smoked ham hock and cheddar cheese with 2 poached eggs on top finished off with chipotle hollandaise sauce. It tasted ok but the moisture from smoked ham and cheese inside made the waffle a bit too soggy. And I definitely think that they could 've thrown in an extra egg considering the size of the waffle. But of course, beautiful presentation!<br/ .<br/ Crab Scramble Chili salsa, coriander mint salad, crispy garlic shallots, szechuan pepper caramel on toast. In terms of taste, I 'd rather choose this one over benedict. A decent portion with mild spicy kicks. I really enjoyed this experimental fusion style dish layers of different taste profiles from contrasting ingredients coming together beautifully as a whole : .<br/ Overall, not bad but kinda expected more considering its popularity. Probably won 't visit anytime soon but definitely a pleasant experience everytime I go."

"Stumbled across this wonderful little place only yesterday on our way to the Nova cinema.What a find it was for us.My partner had the Duck Pate baguette, and I had the Quiche Lorraine.The Quiche Lorraine was delicious as it was so thick and creamy and appeared to have lardons in it, which enhanced the flavour even more.The pastry was perfect. I would not usually choose to have this dish but I am so pleased I did.My partner enjoyed his baguette.There were many other dishes to choose from, and all the other customers seemed to be enjoying their meals.The service was excellent, and the French accents just added to the experience.The food is a nice change from all the Italian eateries surrounding it.I would highly recommend a visit if you have not already been.We certainly want to re-visit when we are next in Carlton"

"Pizza is her main thrust and it is obvious why! The base is beautiful and soft, but with a bite as well as the quality of the toppings is excellent. Many pizzas to choose, but also to offer a few pastas. Great vibes and exceptional service. Book or go early is a must because it is packed quite quickly!"

"At the end of a lane off a small street, this place is straight from Melbourne's marketing brochure. Its out of the road enough that if it wasn't good, they wouldn't last a week - virtually no passing traffic so its for repeat customers.I've been there for coffee several times now and its always busy with work types and not that loud to discourage people to meet there.Pricing is fairly standard across the city and products (meals, coffee) of a high standard.Perfect for out-of-towners to find !!"

Salmon blini as amuse bouche, first course was a seafood charcuterie (stunning presentation), second course root vegetable braise and the main course was braised lamb neck and nettle gnocchi. In private room, great service and excellent food and the wines were great."

"Food excellent.Staff friendly and welcoming.Music a bit blah.Currently live around the corner and have passed this place many times but never ventured in. Have now been there twice for brunch and will happily return.The meal sizes are excellent, almost too much. All made very lovingly. The coffee is excellent. the place doesn't look much fro the outside but I love the decor and the use of books scattered throughout."
