"Lovely traditional French restaurant, long lasting and always a very well organised and presented ambiance. this is white table cloths , napkins and maitre de style. the chaps who seem to run front of house are always polite , deferential and engaging. The food may not be totally French authentic , but you could easily be eating in Paris or Lyon.Perhaps the mains were a bit salty , but then again the depth of flavours was unmissable .Wine list very good , we had a cooled red Chinon which was nicely presented at the right temperature and a pleasant light red for a warm summer evening- it was pleasing to find it on the list.Perhaps a little stuffy , but these guys no their business and run a quality restaurant in a calming and restrained style."

"I had one of the best and most expensive meals of my life at La Fenouilliere. The decor is a bit dated and the prices shocked me for a restaurant in a Best Western. But it turned out to be one of highlights of my stay in Quebec. I had the full meal — entree, soup, main and dessert. Each serving was like a work of art. The service was incredible. There was a complimentary amuse bouche — tuna tartar — that was amazing. I really highly recommend. Just be prepared to splurge."

"Fantastic service, the croissants are excellent, the coffee is excellent, what more do you need for a typical French breakfast. I bought our breakfast here whilst stay close by the service and quality over the four mornings never varied. I would recommend this for breakfast."

"We saw CK when we stopped on Cartier St. just to check out the scene that afternoon. We returned for dinner and went to a cozy table inside with a pub-like atmosphere. The menu is mostly burgers and other pub food but they have a few specials each night, which were OK. The broccoli cream soup to start was the best, however. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere and informality - a friendly pub without a lot of noise or loud music."
