"What a lovely place! It oozes kerb side appeal, and has plenty of parking too. The pub itself was really well decorated and had such a friendly atmosphere, and we received a really warm welcome. We stayed in room 4 which was such a lovely room. It was so clean, spacious and well equipped and we just LOVED the bay window so pretty. It was really tastefully decorated and the bed was super comfy too. The food was delicious definitely worth visiting for. The duck spring rolls as a starter were full of meat and the Manchester Tart was just delicious. I'd definitely like to return to sample some of the other dishes available. Breakfast was well cooked and really tasty a really good portion size too. And as for the staff they were all so friendly and welcoming and really added to the character of the place. They definitely made our stay very welcoming. Thank you so much for our stay we've already spread the word and will definitely be revisiting for another stay in the future."

"I popped in today for a late lunch. I had a quick look at the menu but decided to opt for the make my own platter, advised by the lovely owner after I described the kinds of cheese I love. A really delicious selection and a wide variety to choose from so I’m sure something for everyone there. The coffee is great too!!"
