"1st the customer service wasn't good no greeting, the guy at the front wouldn't even look at me took my order and as I was paying he walked away, then comes tell me it's going to be 8 min which is understandable. 2nd as we're waiting only a couple mins I see several people walking out with pizza so I went inside and once again guy won't look at me. 3rd so I wait till he finishes taking a order then he walks out from the back with my pizza sits it on the counter says nothing and walk away but as I'm leaving he does say have a good day. Lastly the food did not taste fresh for having to wait and barely any sauce on the pizza"

"The place has an old school. Standard breakfast rate. Eggs were perfectly cooked and my meal was great. The actual kicker is the Belgian waffle. These waffles could be the best in Sacramento or near enough. Order the waffles, you will not regret it."

"La Bou Bakery Cafe... I am told that LaBou is short for La Boutique Boulangerie of a special person in my life who lived in Sacramento all her life, that I am completely familiar with my life. This same person led me to La Bou many years ago. There was one in Roseville (Main St. Baseline Rd) many years ago that has been going through many shops and not really solidified. Anyway, during my many trips throughout California, there are many options for food. I'm looking for Veteran friendly places or workers who, if they offer military or veterans discounts, get a 5-star rating, but the food and service still has to stay high and satisfied with my visit. I promise that even if all above are large, but NO military veteran support, 1 star will be deducted. Anyway, with the review.... The employee is great. When I went through the door and was greeted with a friendly smile. Explanation of some of the special features and favorites where given. I chose California Turkey. This has Turkey, Avocado, Romaine Lettuce, Roastrd Red Peppers, Cucumber and Mayo on Special Walnut Bread. The hue of the hue was a lit purple brownish color of the Walnut Breads. The bread was thick in appearance, but with a fluffy soft gum on it. But be careful to the content of the sand that wants to slip out because the edges where the crust meets the soft bread begins to crack and break off from it. The individual taste itself can be recognized with any element of the content as the peppers, where a little salted, a little vinegary, the avocado slices, where a perfect one. Color and tasted this buttery consistency. While Turkey, Romain Romain Lettuce and Mayo are their job to the perfect looking and could I add tasty sand. I highly recommend. The surroundings recall the old style cafe with the classic Bakery case full of bakery. The place was clean and people work behind the counter. I will give this place (La Bou), Carmichael a 5 star review. Everything was great and the employee allowed a discount for the military veteran award."

"Absolutely amazing food that feels home cooked not slapped together. Went here a couple weeks ago to try out was throughly impressed with the food the service the atmosphere considering how busy they were short staffed. It gave me a feel of being at home eating with family friends on a Sunday morning, which usually pretty hard to find now. Thanks Guys will be back soon!!"
