"I must say it's been a long time since I've had such ordinary food and disinterested service. The waitress barely looked at us and it seemed like she didn't want to be there. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich - thinking that it would be a safe choice. I was wrong, What I received was 2 triangles of bread completely flattened with a bit of cheese running out the side. That's it. The bill had been delivered with the food meaning we never saw the waitress again until we paid. Perhaps that was a good thing. The place could do with a face lift too, it looks really worn as does the cutlery and crockery."

"I had some excellent meals in this small well-known restaurant, hidden in the Yacht Club and only opened on Thursday and Friday. So I was looking forward to another delicious meal. I opted for a very well valued senior menu. My peas and... ham soup was delicious not the traditional kind of peas and ham soup that just fit me well. I prefer the flavors of the more traditional soup. The garlic bread was excellent as the piece of bread served with the soup. My husband enjoyed his Calamari, although it was a bit on the chewing side. My pig bell was rather disappointing, which made me sad. 20% of the cracks were crunchy, the rest was hard and chewing. A bit like plastic, and almost impossible to cut through. I had to fight with the gun to pick up the end bits that were crunchy. The meat was fine, but rather dry on the ground. As soon as I cut my way into the interior of the meat, I found some taste, but it was a challenge. So pity as the accompanying light salad and other flavors were delicious. Service was timely and pleasant."

"It was my husband's choice to go here. My choice was the Thai restaurant up the road, but I compromised :)As a vegetarian, I ordered the chipotle mac and cheese, and the mushroom quesadilla. The food was so yummy, much better than I expected. I tried to replicate the quesadilla at home the next day with limited success. I can't wait to go back and eat the exact same meal. My husband wants to try everything on the menu. Atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and the staff were lovely. I did feel like we were the oldest people in the restaurant (we're early thirties!). Definitely popular with a younger crowd when we went on a Saturday evening. Highly recommended."

"Birthday Brekkie for three. I had the baked eggs, my husband, the Croque Monsieur and my son the Scones. We shared the bruschetta for appetizers and that was amazing. My son explained his best milkshake of all time. Hubby worshiped the Croque and the scones were amazing. The staff were delightful. Light delay for the net, but a beautiful relaxing way to spend the morning with the papers. I then attended the lady part of the store, where I bought a unique handmade brooch and a beautiful pair of earrings. A nice day thanks."
