"My daughter and I went to Ballou's yesterday to celebrate National Wine Day, since Ballou's is one of our favorite go-to places. We love the cheese and crabmeat fondue, the meat and cheese boards that can be created to one's liking, and the wine flights, of course! The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. Ballou's is definitely one of our favorite restaurants!"

"Had dinner last night in the dining room; 2 pasta dinners with 1 meatball, 2 basic garden salads, 2 sodas...$60! Talk about sticker shock! This is a take out restaurant with a few tables where you order at the counter. The food was mediocre at best! We could've eaten at one of the nice Italian restaurants in town for the same price. "We loved to Ct 3 years ago and have been drooling over TGC Instagram posts for that long we finally made it and it did not disappoint. Ordering online right now kind of sucks because we got stuck in traffic and even with the time buffet we gave ourselves we still missed our food at its peak. With fried food especially pricier meals it is better hot but oh well. We got 2 turkey clubs for our 8&10 year olds and really they could have shared one. The portions were huge and came with a big side of potato chips. We got garlic knots, calamari, onion rings, buffalo chicken sandwich and a peach and prosciutto apizza. Literally everything was just as delicious as I had imagined it would be "
