"Visited here on my daughter's 50th birthday. It was a bit sad because we lost her lovely Dad and my beloved husband of 52 years in February of this year.If only be had been sitting with us.We were comforted by excellent food that we ordered...and service you couldn't fault. Lovely white tablecloths, and very quite and relaxing atmosphere. We did need this after the year we had. My daughter and I had the gammon ham, eggs and chips which was cooked to perfection in greater quantities than I could manage. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Will return again for the happy experience."

"We had wonderful vegan scones, the kids had clotted cream scones. The soup was really tasty, as well as the vegan panini’s. The five of us and our dog had really tasty food here. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing and chatty lunch."

"This is a traditional cafe run by cheerful and welcoming staff, it's visited by all sorts of folk, tourists, workmen, locals, etc. We needed to be fed having arrived on the early ferry and this seemed to be the place. We both had a large breakfast with mugs of builders tea, two of everything and absolutely great, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, 2 toast, we didn't need to eat again until the evening. Our large breakfasts were £6.25 each with tea at £1.30 fantastic value. We enjoyed it so much we had a repeat performance on the way back to getting the ferry after our holiday. Highly recommend to others wanting a slap up feed, smaller and larger options are available."

"Popped in to try, after reading your reviews. The pub is well situated, good parking, nice views. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is lovely, laid back, good music and comfortable lighting. We both decided on the chicken curry, although the menu offered a huge choice. The dishes were well presented, served with a poppadom, onion, and mango chutney. The curry was hot in temperature, and very moreish. We really didn't want to leave. Well done fantastic hospitality. Dietary restrictions: Wide choice available. Parking: Free parking."

"I stopped for lunch at Daisy's Bakery and Tea Rooms, it looked quite inviting and also I desperately needed to escape the torrential rain. I had a nice welcome when I arrived, there was a varied menu and everything was reasonably priced. The coffee was very good and the jacket potato was very filling, it set me up for the afternoon. A very nice cafe with friendly staff members, a short walk up the hill from Sandown Pier."

"Staff are really helpful. They are attentive but don't rush you. Always speical to have proper leaf tea and proper coffee. Charming venue (former post office). Interesting cakes (and very generous portions). Inside and outside space. Would love it to be open a bit longer, as it was formerly. I am sure those who used to attend evening live music there would also welcome its return. Make the most of them, locals and visitors."
