"Very inviting taphouse. You know how some places act like you're dumb because you think IPAs taste like Pine Sol? Thunderhead is not that place. The bartender was very accommodating to my buddy who doesn't know a hefe from a porter and still answered all my questions. We did not try the pizza because we had other plans, but the pizza looked great and if we were to be in Kearney one more day, we'd have planned on their pizza."

"It 's always a treat when an employee at a service driven company says Have a nice day and it sounds more like, Get the F outta my face so I can go back to playing on my phone. What do valueless employees do when their lack of desire to be a positive experience to customers drives the company out of business? They move on to Taco Bell and get paid $20/hr for $7.50/hr value proposition."

"Started with 5 jumbo shrimp and the worst cocktail sauce. Sad really. Especially $25. (Skip it) the Ceasars salads were fine. Then I ordered a cheeseburger and my guest ordered the LC steak. The burger was the juiciest burger I 've ever had. The condiments and veggies weren 't incredible. The KC stead at medium (which the deepest part was cooked medium) looked tough and hard to chew. The loaded baked potatoes looked old and dry. I would say skip this place. But if you need food. Go here just don 't expect 4+ stars"
