"I have no way of knowing what the quality of food is in this cafe but am certain it could never be worth a return visit. I paid $13 today to be served food I did not order and could not eat and then be treated by staff in the most rude and disgusting manner it has ever been my misfortune to experience anywhere.After receiving a slice of chicken quiche, rather than the vegetarian quiche I had ordered, the person originally serving me quite politely said the dish I had ordered was not a quiche, but clearly recognised the dish (a vegetable tart?) I had ordered and said they would replace the dish and that it wouldn't take long.Another staff member then returned with the chicken quiche and loudly informed me that I had made the unforgivable mistake of approaching the counter to order rather than waiting at tables to be served from the menu (although there were no signs indicating this and the original server took my order without suggesting that I wait at a table). She then asked me to take the chicken quiche, but when I said that I had ordered a vegetarian dish she left, taking the dish with her again, saying that I should order properly next time. After waiting nearly 15 minutes my friend asked another woman cleaning tables nearby how long it might take for the replacement dish to arrive. She then informed us that there would be no replacement dish, again stating it was my fault that the order was mixed up and that if I wanted a vegetarian dish she would bring back the original dish and I could eat the side salad. When asked if she was the manager, she told us that she was the owner.I refused the "offer" of the salad from the chicken quiche and said I would not be returning. As my friend had not yet finished her meal, though, we stayed for a short while longer. The owner then went back into the kitchen, returned with the original chicken quiche dish (now more than 20 minutes cold and looking very rubbery) and shoved the dish in front of me telling me I could eat it or not!At no stage until this point had my friend or I been impolite or caused any form of public drama. When we informed customers entering the cafe of the appalling service following this last insult, however, we were informed that we had no right to do so.I have never been a person who believes that the customer is always right, and would probably have accepted a polite explanation of the store policy, regardless of whether I agreed with it. This blatant rudeness, however, is unforgivable under any circumstances and I only hope that the people of Morwell will not accept this standard of customer service in their town!"

"From the moment you enter this restaurant you feel welcomed. The staff are attentive and friendly. This is a licensed restaurant and serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You can pop in for a coffee or get a coffee to take away. There is a great selection of dishes as well as a fridge with a variety of cakes displayed to order. Vegetarians can order a variety of dishes and even the entree serves are a good size."
