"I don't expect Paris prices to be cheap, or to get particularly fantastic food at a roadside bistro... and I found I was right to have these pre-conceptions. What would have been nice however, is to have had a waiter who acted like he gave...at least a small toss. He literally approached our table without a word and glared impatiently whilst we tried to order our food under his malevolent stare. I asked about the size of their pizza and he indicated a decent size for two people to be able to share. At €15 it wasn't cheap but at least it would be enough for me to share with my nephew. I nearly cancelled the order when I noticed his dirty fingernails and saw him cough into his hand but stuck with it because my nephew was tired and hungry. When the pizza arrived (slid across the table towards us, wordlessly, by Golum the waiter) it was an unimpressive 10 inches in diameter. I queried the waiter's description of the size of the pizza with the manager, who while at least attempting to be charming, couldn't really care less. We only do pizza in one size he repeated endlessly. I understand that, but your waiter misled us I tried, patiently before excusing him. The pizza nothing special but my nephew enjoyed his half so he left happy, which made me happy. My advice is to give this place a wide berth. The irony is, and I can say this confidently after many years in the service industry, that had the waiter bothered to give a bit of personality, be friendly and engage with us, I probably wouldn't have been that annoyed about the size or quality of the food"
