"We visited The Vault whilst exploring the area as we were staying in some nearby log cabins at Winston Farm. We absolutely loved it, such a lovely, friendly environment and we were made to feel very welcome. Great drinks and food at brill prices. Very clean and an amazing place to chill after a lovely walk down the canal (the comfy sofa was to die for). We also heard they have some great events too but we obviously wasn’t in the area at the time to attend or of course we would have been there. 100% recommend, especially to anyone visiting the area who are wanting somewhere nice to enjoy a pint in a welcoming environment! We would definitely come back to ellesmere just to come back and chill at the Vault! Fabulous! Thank you so much for making our weekend away a fab one!"

"Popped in on the spur of the moment and was pleasantly surprised at the great selection of both drinks and food. Sufficient to meet most peoples whims and wishes. Very pleasant and attentive staff. We both thoroughly enjoyed our chosen lunch. Apart from exterior sitting there is much more inside and also another room which forms a library."

"While in Shropshire we usually pay a visit to the Hawkstone Golf Club just to relax and watch those brave souls who were out playing holes on this day that was a bit warm and very windy! We looked over the menu and ended...up with Soup of the Day (Broccoli and Stilton) with crusty roll and a ham sandwich on granary bread with salad and salad. It was nice, nothing outstanding or unusual. It has become a bit more expensive over the years and it could be due to Hawkstone not handling its own kitchen any longer. Could understand too why the restaurant wasn't as busy as it has been in years gone by. Still, it is nice."

"Having made our plant purchases we had intended to have tea and cake, but we were wooed by the lunch menu and had a panini him and a mushroom and blue cheese toastie me with a portion of sweet potato chips to share, we had a lovely sunny window table and the food was well presented, and very yummy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed it, and had a sunny walk around the display garden afterwards too.Cannot go too often because of the danger of too many plant purchases from the great adjoining nursery ! but we will return soon as the cakes looked good too."

"For the last 7 years we have been visiting The Bell at Tong every other month to eat with family on a Sunday. Over that time we have seen many changes. However, at our recent visit there was a noticeable change. The atmosphere and friendly service was was the first thing we noticed. The staff were engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. We were a party of 10 and we know from experience that serving everyone promptly can be a challenge. However, all the meal looked and tasted great. My 8oz steak was the best I’ve eaten anywhere in a very long time! Overall the experience was fantastic."
