"Another beautiful lunch in the victoria inn. every year we come to salcombe this is top on our places to eat! gorgeous crab sandwiches for me and grandmother, while elysia and grandad have fucked to enjoyable fish finger sandwiches! chloe had ham, ei and chips saw and tasted divine! Well done to all the team they work hard to earn the accolades they deserve! here's a picture of the crab sandwich. it's too tasty to me, everything away!"

"Popular, busy fish and chip shop. They have a car park but this can also be full so you need to park nearby. Good crispy batter on the fish and good portion size. So many customers always seems to be freshly cooked. Friendly staff Food: 4 Service: 4"

"I took my mum here today for her birthday, she loves a pie and is quite the pie connoisseur, so i am always on the hunt to find her the best place..well i think we found it! Proper shortcrust pastry, delicious filling, great options of sides and gravies and the perfect portion size. Also so impressed with the service, we had a blonde lady and she was efficient, friendly and super helpful. We can't wait to come back to our new favourite place. Thank you"

"Went here for dinner as family, 7 adults and 3 kids)while staying for week in Dartmouth, This was our last night and needed to be decent We made last minute booking by phone as previous place we had booked did not have a good choice for all family. The food ordered was of very good and the service was very efficient. We had several different dishes from the menu including one special. All were very tasty, well presented and decent portions. Drinks also quite reasonable compared with some of the places we had been during the week. Certainly would eat here again if and when in Dartmouth."

"Visiting Dartmouth for the day with a bunch of locals from North Devon. We split off and found The Windjammer. The menu enticed us in and a very friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar ensured that we stayed for lunch. My pint of Windjammer Ale was excellent:..Well-kept, full of flavour and yet of sufficiently low ABV to allow me to enjoy the rest of my day in the town and on the river without falling in! For lunch, my wife enjoyed a brilliant Fish Pie with accompanying veggies which she classified as being as good as she could make herself (she is a retired Cookery Teacher) and I really enjoyed the Smoked Haddock, Mussels and Crab Chowder with new potatoes and home-made bread. It was brilliant!. This is an interesting venue: It is scruffy in some respects, but extremely clean and friendly. The nautical paraphernalia is generally authentic and the art-work on the walls is original and local. We really enjoyed it. It is worth a visit, even though it's off the beaten track, tourist-wise. Thank you!"

"It is a very welcoming pub that was presented clean and well. they had a good selection of dartmoor beer available and it was poured into the right glass. the menu was well thought out (not only her pub grub) and eating was well presented and prompt. all the staff were friendly and it also had parking space. Baby change is also available. I would recommend it."
