"The carvery is very good. Normally when I go to a carvery, the meat joints are cooked in response to demand, which means they tend not to be melt in the mouth tender... At the Greyhound the cook the meat joints at a lower temperature for longer and so by the time they find they way onto the carving table, they are so tender... I try to go at least twice or three times a month. Less often and I get withdrawal symptoms... Service: Dine in"

"A real pub! No flashy things loud music or pingy things pretending to give you money! Lovely quirky rooms with real fires. Yes, it was the end of July but it was cooold! We had a scrumptious meal of chicken and ham pie and vegetable curry. The pie was beautiful and big. Just what you need after a longish walk around the area. The curry was robust and tasty and dry! Most unusual as they are normally sloshing around. It had a lovely selection of veg too, not just peas and carrots! A superb pint washed it down and a berry crumble all home made- was delicious. For the nerdy real ale people I'm really sorry but I can't remember the name of the beer! Sorry!"

"Pulled by birmingham here and had abandoned to find a good Indian restaurant to replace those I loved in B,ham, and then I found spice garden and was never happier with eating. if they like authentic curries that always taste fantastic, then this is the place to order or collect for delivery."
