"We ordered Calzones for our Anniversary for Takeout. Everything was fantastic. I wish we could have dined in person, but this stupid Virus continues plagueing us. You guys do a great job every time we've visited, and there was ZERO let down on the takeout,...despite the time it takes to drive it home. Our sit down dinners there were always epic. Particularly enjoy the Italian beer with Pizza. I hope you guys come out the other side intact, and continue your amazing preparations and super atmosphere."

This restaurant is an absolute must for all visitors to Thunder Bay get there early on Sunday as this is a very popular place for families and friends getting together for breakfast. "We have been there 5 or 6 times with different friends and because it's the only restaurant in the area it may have taken off too fast and has growing pains. The pizza is ok but could do with less cheese and the bottom of the crust has been soggy. They have a nice variety of dinners on the menu with specials. Salads and appetizers. The staff is friendly but in too much of a hurry that they have to come back to the table often for clarification of order. The wine selection is poor especially not having a basic Italian red wine when your menu is basically Italian. They can't keep saying they're working on it. The booths are very uncomfortable, the built in table is too narrow but they have a lot of seating that can be adjusted for all size of parties. Grass cutting and better signage would give the place some curb appeal. Needs a clean up. All in all we are very pleased that the McKenzie is back in operation and with some tweaking it should be around for a long time. Good Luck."
