"In a rather empty restaurant we had commanded to forget that we delivered half a desert and wait with workers who were inattentive when we tried to inform them. twice we had to stand up and see if we could get orders that were simply forgotten. really not good enough."

"Had lunch with friends today. Sat in the courtyard under the beautiful trees. Food was delicious, fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend this pub and come again. Approx $35 per person (food 1 cocktail)"

"Order: kale and broccolini freekeh salat I gave 2 stars, but my actual rating sits at 2.5 note that this does not mean that the restaurant is bad on any wise. only that there are some areas they could improve. I was out with my family to eat, and we all agreed that what the garage is wisely suffering from food is the fact that all the dishes we have ordered have been overpowered by their sauces / suits. (for reference, I have a photo of the amount of oil on my teller after the conclusion and holy hell it was said a lot, all that, the freekeh salat actually did not taste badly. I just think that this is a case where too much is being tried to do with exotic things, rather than holding on something that is trying and true. I was also in the garage as a vegetarian for breakfast and ordered blueberry mascarpone franchises toast (that was from an older menu and is no longer available). I was at mates and had to try some of their dishes/drinks. from the compilation of these two experiences I can say that the garage makes the breakfast better than they make lunch. will I have returned to lunch? will I have gone back to the breakfast? Yeah, but only if I happened to be in the opposite."

"Service and atmosphere were great, food was average unfortunately. Don't order the goats cheese cigars if you're hungry, they were barely entree size. <br>
I'll probably return and give it another chance as despite the food not living up to the hype we had a really enjoyable night here."

"Went for Valentines dinner. Was booked for 7:45 and arrived on time with good intentions from all the things I heard and read. Credit to the chef as the food was very good, flavours crafted very cleverly so in that case was very impressed. Unfortunately being forgotten about and not getting our order taken until 1 hour and 20 minutes later and being told 'sorry we forgot you'. We then received the first two courses back to back to which the first course was not what we were told was on the set menu and then waited another 40 mins for the main. By now I would of walked out but lucky for them they made me pre-pay over the phone before arriving!!! Nice of them to give me two complimentary drinks because 'we were forgotten about' to only then charge me $7 for a bottle of tap water! No communication whatsoever by staff and several tables around suffered the same experience, some arrived even earlier than I and received food ever later than us!! Shame, as the food was very good, but service definitely ruined my 'supposed' special valentines night. Staff were flustered, confused and irritated which reflected to the customers. May want to get a front of staff member who actually knows what's going on?"

"Super busy at lunch time, and there was a delicious smell coming out of this cafe. Tried the Bun Bo Xao, it was a very large portion with a super generous amount of beef! Beef was a bit chewy, but still quite tasty. Would definitely recommend if you're hungry. Unfortunately the Thursday special thit kho (caramelised pork belly with egg) just wasn't very good, it was less than average tasty so I would not recommend it. Overall I would recommend Tui Cafe!"
