"We have eaten at this restaurant for at least 15 years. Food is delicious, prices are reasonable. The restaurant was recently renovated on the inside. It's clean bright, with the dining room at the front and a small bar at the back. Big screen...tvs in both rooms. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking."

"There on the Canada Day with my family and there were no tables on the terrace, but we are the only table in the interior. we ordered coffee and breakfast and it probably took at least 15 to 20 minutes for the coffee. almost an hour later our food was not yet in the table and we followed up and they said that there are other people who ordered before us and that there was only one person in the kitchen. so there is literally nothing they can do. we had a small child and we were extremely frustrated that they didn't even tell us that if we sat down, it would be this ridiculous waiting time. we asked ourselves about the bill and they still accused us of the full price for the expensive coffees that would have tasted better if I had made it home. will not come back and would not recommend."

"Kitchen M 名廚坊 is located in Markham, near the intersection between Highway 7 McCowan Road. It’s a HK Style Cafe, which means it serves a large variety of asian food, from breakfast to “Har Ng Chai” to soup noodles to congee, etc.<br/ <br/ It’s definitely jam packed from morning to evening since it serves so many asian items throughout the day.<br/ <br/ In particular, I like it’s lunch and brunch menu, especially afternoon tea (Har Ng Chai), which serves from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These special “Har Ng Chai” items include a hot beverage during this particular time period.<br/ <br/ This place is modern, clean and is spacious for a HK Style Cafe standards, that’s because its predecessor was once being used as Japanese all-you-can-eat (AYCE) but now converted as Kitchen M. I would say the staff are quite attentive and most speak good/decent English that could serve you and recommend you with good food suggestions. Almost every table has the “Korean Style” ringer, which you can press a button for service or press the button for the bill. The ringer is super helpful especially Kitchen M is such a spacious place that sometimes finding a staff around maybe an issue.<br/ <br/ I like the morning combo that serves toast, sausage omelette, ham strips on soup macaroni, plus a hot beverage, all for $5.95 before tax. That’s a great deal! Mind you, the soup macaroni is in good portion as well.<br/ <br/ Personally, I really like its pepper beef sirloin stir fry spaghetti. Good “wok air”, with hot temperature when it arrives to your table. Peppercorn beef sirloin strips are nicely marinated, you can really smell and taste the peppercorn in the beef. I also love the onions, peppers and beansprout. This is a MUST order. If you can’t eat beef, you can ask for pork chop meat instead. Same great taste, but clearly, I do prefer the peppercorn beef sirloin.<br/ <br/ Another great food item at Kitchen M is the “Chu Chow” creamy soup rice noodles that come with fish balls, fish sticks and crispy fish skins. Complete package, super tasty. Coupled with its signture chilli oil? Perfecto!<br/ <br/ Next time you are around the Markham area, be sure to visit Kitchen M. "Decided to try Dragon Legend. Made a reservation 5 days in advance. We were told then that our seating would have a 1 hour 45 minute limit, which we had no problem with. Half our party arrived 30 minutes early and we were told our limit would start from then or we could wait for everyone else, so we decided to wait for the rest of the group. They arrived 15 minutes early of the reservation and we were seated, again being told our time would start from the point we were seated which was 15 minutes early...fine, no problem since we were all there.Just 55 minutes into our (new) seating time we are brought the bill and told we had 15 minutes left. We advised them again of our reservation time, provided our confirmation number, and even though their books had our reservation time correct and we acknowledged we were seated 15 minutes early, they continued to harass us saying we were already 1.5 hours into our reservation, which was simply not true.They continued to insist we were lying and wrong the entire time we were preparing a 95 year old with a walker to leave 50 minutes early than we were supposed to, even having more than one service person come to tell us we were wrong, as if they were trying to prove a point, even though we were leaving as requested despite having a right to be there longer. We wouldn't want to spend another minute in there with the way they were treating us anyway. Irrespective of this the food was of medium quality and the service was poor. So in the end it's a live and learn experience.We will never go back and advise anyone thinking of trying it to find another place to go. In addition to horrible service the food is far from worth the risk of being tossed out and treated in an abusive manner."
