"The food was good ....I wouldn't say it was the best but it is better than most. It is always very busy and the price I would say is about average ...I think it could use a little more flavor for my taste...I got the breakfast burrito which was good but not sure it was worth what we paid my husband got biscuits and gravy which he really liked total bill was 20 today we again because my husband really liked the biscuits and gravy and I got a breakfast sandwich on a bagel that was very dry and chewy almost choked trying to get it down and the total bill was 17 ? 3 stars is the best I could do but if you like biscuits and gravy this is the place"

"Good service, good food, clean, reasonable prices. My husband is a former trucker, and he said the food was some of the best (especially the hash browns). We ate there for breakfast while passing through on our vacation. I’d definitely eat there again if we come through there."

"Ive been coming here for over 20 years. When I first came to San Francisco I was lamenting the lack of a good burger in the city. It took me a while to discover Bills and I still remember my first bite back in 1997. Ive been coming back since I moved back to Australia and now I bring my sons here every time we come to visit family. Bills are simply the best tasting burger Ive ever eaten and it is consistently brilliant. Fresh ground chuck cooked to your order, plus the fries are really good. My sons love Bills because the burgers are simply delicious. They have taken the Boar burger off the menu but they will still make it for me-hows that for service? Great place, great neighbourhood icon. Bill himself has passed but left a legacy to the people of the Richmond District, and that legacy is kept alive by the current owners. Great place, cant speak highly enough of the food. I used to have a burger just before getting to SFO and stepping onto the plane flying back to Australia as I hate airline food, a Bills burger would sustain me for the whole 14 hours flight. Cant beat that! PLEASE San Francisco, KEEP BILLS ALIVE DURING THE PANDEMIC SO FUTURE GENERATIONS CAN EAT THESE FANTASTIC BURGERS."

"I want to start with service. Five stars. Now we did have to wait for a bit on the server but Yuriko was busting her hump and hustling everywhere but she was so very kind and she gave straight answers on questions about the menu like taking hash browns over house potatoes and why. The menu is huge. Every option imaginable for breakfast. I got the 2x2x2 and my wife got the zucchini delight. My eggs were perfect, bacon was flavorful and not full of fat. The pancakes were perfect and as a non pancake lover that’s really a huge compliment. I love the fact that I could get peanut butter for them as well. My wife was super happy with her scramble and the Vegas were very fresh. The coffee had a solid base to it as we like a bold brew and they offer flavored creamers vanilla and hazelnut and half and half. Place had some remodeling done, pretty clean and open concept. Will for sure be coming back when we are here to see family."

"Absolutely love this restaurant, this is my go-to breakfast place in Glendale. The food is always amazing and the staff has been very welcoming every time I’ve been in. Can’t go wrong with any one of their omelets and I love that you can choose fresh fruit instead of potatoes for many of their breakfast dishes. Can get busy on the weekends, but they’ve got both indoor and outdoor areas and can accommodate quite a few people at a time. Reasonably priced, not the cheapest in town but not expensive either. Definitely recommend trying this place out."

"I don't think I have ever given a one star review in my life. This was the most disappointing meal I have had in a very long time. My fish tacos were a soggy bland mess and completely inedible, my sister's quesadilla was bland and dry... Not one of the 5 people in my party enjoyed their food. The only enjoyable part of the meal was the chips and salsa. The service was poor as well, we had to ask multiple times just to get napkins and silverware for our table. The server even looked confused asking how many place settings we wanted... we said 5 since we had 5 people at the table. The cherry on top was the expensive price of the meals.. well above their value. Save your time and visit the La Penca Taco Bar (not the sit down part) on Park Street, their food is excellent and its hard for me to believe they are run by the same restaurant."
