"I go here often but today I went with my sister and everything was fine till our order of a hamburger and sandwich came 25-30 minutes late. I mean how hard is it to make those? It's just meat on bread with veggies and other stuff. And the waitress rushed us to pay and get out there fast. We weren't pleased at all, never going to this location again!"

"Went through drive through, had to repeat order several times (it was a 2 item order) and finally had to drive up to window as they could not understand a simple order. Picked up the order. Mine, chilli cheese nachos with the chips on the...side, my son's a Baconator combo. Drove away and my son checked the order. The chips were NOT on the side. Drove back got it corrected. Got home and my son was almost halfway through the Baconator and noticed the bottom burger was cooked but the top one was bright pink! Called the store manager and was told that sometimes burgers can look like that but they are fully cooked! BS! We don't go there very often but almost every time we do they manage to screw something up. From now on I think we'll just avoid it altogether. Bad service, bad food."

"We just returned home from Thur. date night special. It was by far the most incredibly and beautifully prepared meal we have had in a very long time! The quality of food, service and presentation alone make the price so incredible! This restaurant deserves exploring! A diamond for sure! You can tell the people running this diamond really care so much about doing their level best to bring great service to patrons."

"When we entered Captain George's to try their All You Can Eat lunch, we were enthusiastically greeted by the owner, who took our order quickly and sat us down. It's a fish and chips restaurant, so it's as you'd expect nautical decorations, bright colours and...lots of lighting. While the seating was hardly luxurious, the fish and chips were top notch. The only thing keeping us from coming more regularly is it's proximity to one of the worst intersections in York Region... Yonge St. and Aurora Road. With the traffic lights and turning issues to the Go-Train traffic, getting to Captain George's can sometimes be a pain. And that's too bad, as their fish is great."

"First visit to this location and won't be rushing back. Got a mushroom swiss burger with fries and a drink to go. Only a 5 minute drive home but the grease oozing from the bag was disgusting. Glad I put something on the car seat...under their pathetic flimsy bag that wouldn't fold. The burger was not bad. Bread got a bit soggy from the grease but the biggest disappointment of the day was not only the price which was high but the undercooked limp and soggy fries. The customer service at the till left a lot to be desired. I get it that you're busy with a previous order but a nod, smile, look, or an hello would have made the 3 minute wait time a lot lot longer and more annoying. Had I not been without food for 7 hours I might just have gone elsewhere. Next time I will"
