"Todo gira en torno a la cerveza artesanal aquí, así que la comida está diseñada para combinar con las cervezas que tienen. Me parece que la comida es buena respecto a los precios que manejan. Las ensaladas y las pastas son abundantes, las pueden compartir entre 3, los sándwiches y hamburguesas son muy grandes y llevan papás, así que son llenadoras. Recomiendo la sopa de cebolla. He ido dos veces y la segunda vez, fui con un grupo grande de amigos y para ello reservamos mesa, no sé si debido a eso o por suerte, el chef nos recibió con una explicación de todas las cervezas con las que cuentan, su sabor, con qué y cómo las hacen y con qué alimentos las puedes combinar. No me gusta la cerveza de ningún tipo, pero los amigos con los que fui amaron las cervezas de este lugar, muchas de ellas son importadas y otras son nacionales, igual si quieres probar de muchos estilos, hay una charola con vasos pequeños con algunas de ellas. El servicio me pareció deficiente, las dos veces que fui nos atendió el mismo mesero y se revolvía con las órdenes, se le olvidaban las cosas, en fin, es el único pero que lo pongo. Sí comes y bebes normal te gastas unos $200. En definitiva regresaría."

"Located in a gorgeous dowager of a building at one of the prettiest spots in the city, Legión Americana occupies the entire ground floor of the American Legion post here, with a bar area and several distinct rooms where you can either mingle with the...crowd or enjoy a quiet meal. Best place in town to watch US football and basketball over a few beers. Good drinks generously poured, a North American-style bar menu that features the best burger and BLT I've found in Mexico City, music many nights, special events (from monthly trivia contests, to occasional karaoke nights, to Saturday afternoon bingo benefiting the charities the Legion supports), and an awesome American-style Sunday brunch. All in an funky atmosphere with an eclectic multi-generational, multi-lingual crowd and a friendly staff. Open for lunch too. Gringo-friendly, and you'll have no trouble getting by in English if your Spanish isn't there yet. But it's by no means an exclusively North American enclave. The crowd often will include neighborhood old-timers as well as cool kids in their expats, tourists and Mexicans, and of course the Legionnaires themselves who are great to talk to. Upstairs from the bar is Mexico City's only English-language secondhand bookstore, with a surprisingly excellent selection of titles at good prices. (Statement of interest: one of the owners of the bar is a close friend, and through him I've met the others. But that doesn't impact the sincerity of my review. This is a great place"
