"Service was terrible. Once seated me and my wife were forgotten and did not receive menus. Once our order was put it in, we waited almost an hour and the reason why was because our waiter forgot to check on our order. The fried green beans were delicious but the chicken fried steak lacked flavor."

"About 2 years ago moved to Bastrop and wanted to break in here for lunch. I can beat myself because I don't come here earlier. I ordered the chicken fried steak w/ mashed potatoes gravy green beans. (Costing about $12-ish) Everything was perfectly cooked and tasteful GREAT! The part was so big that I could only eat half. (I look forward to my dinner tonight) AND THE ROLL.... It was heavy and heavy!! It reminded me of my grandmother’s homemade roles!!! It could have been a lunch. I'm planning my next visit."
