"Pie has on occasion been good. Decor is interesting collection of grandmother 's aprons. Service is a little bit snarky. Seven of us arrived after a funeral, and five of us arrived after the first group had begun eating. The waitress took orders from the five of us who arrived late but then refused to bring us coffee or pie. She got angry when we asked what kind of pie they had. The pies are listed on the wall, in dark brown letters on light brown signs, about 25 feet away. I understand she 's mad we have stragglers. I 'm sorry, our brilliant, promising 20 year old son just was killed in a car accident after he survived being deployed to the middle east. I understand she 's mad we asked what kind of pie they had, we live over 1,000 miles away, we aren 't familiar with how she runs her business. Also, we don 't have x-ray vision. If you don 't want to have to tell people what the pie signs say, use yellow on black or black on white, in larger letters; not brown on tan. If you can 't think about what people might be going through and be a little kinder, maybe don 't be in the hospitality business. When I went to the restroom, the toilet started to overflow, and I plunged and plunged and plunged, in my funeral clothes from fresh from a 21 gun salute, to prevent it. After the waitress treated my family that way, I wished I 'd let the bathroom flood."

"Had a great dinner with my daughter tonight, the Chicago had 7 minus the mushrooms (Thanks to the goodness they heard, I ask so often and find mushrooms on my food). Good portion size for the pizza, the starter could have been a bit more robust (8 slices of bread instead of six and a little more Marinara would have been a value), but no points for the taste on point. Leave about 40 on drinks, food and a starter. Take two slices home. Shelly was very pleasant, will definitely come back."
