"After sampling most of the restaurants in Puerto Vallarta over 15 days there, Kaiser Maximillian was the only one we revisited several times. The Austrian/German food was better then anywhere we 've found in the States. The owner, you will spot him instantly, an old Germanic...man, oversees every aspect of his restaurant and its servers. examining the silverware, glassware, and each meal insuring it is presented well and the servers jump when he sees anything amiss. One bit of advice if you sit in the sidewalk cafe you may be bothered by the street children selling whatever and scooting away when The Kaiser appears! We usually sat inside."

"I went in on a Friday afternoon around 2pm was sat immediately. I ordered local mineral water the bubbles were light very refreshing. Next I ordered Passion Margarita came quickly what I did not know was 2 for 1 yippee my next margarita was watermelon. Included with my meal was fresh chips and house special of bubbling cheese and beans, with 6 house made salsas 3 in varying degrees of spice and 3 savory. My main was a Beef Carpaccio it was amazing best I ever had topped with artichoke fritters and caper powder. Drinks were very balanced. Service was amazing."

"We visited this restaurant on our first night in Puerto Vallarta. We were staying at a nearby all-inclusive, but wanted to get out and experience the real food of PV. El Barracuda did not not disappoint and I would say we had our very best meal of the trip here. We got there on the early side; around 6pm, and were taken immediately to a table with a gorgeous view of the ocean (I think almost every table has a view of the ocean). The entire waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. Our appetizer was my single favorite dish; seared octopus and mushrooms, served with garlic butter and baguette. It was AMAZING. I had the smoked marlin tacos which were fine, but my fiancé got the Baja Shrimp Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. This is a place we will absolutely return to on our next visit to PVR."

Me e-n-c-a-n-t-a-r-o-n!!!! todo esta delicioso! el pan hecho en casa con colores brillantes y un sabor muy rico, la carne a la parrilla, la cebolla caramelizada, los aderezos! el de mango delicioso! las papás un sabor único, los aritos de cebolla y el agua...yumiii deliciosa!!!! pedí una Fruti limonada o algo así con limón, piña, yerbabuena, no sé que más pero super rica!!!!! Felicitaciones porque son hamburguesas con estilo, calidad y un sabor único!!!:)"

"Ate a few times for breakfast and the food was consistently mediocre and service was poor. Me and my partner that waiters cater to big groups and repeat customers they know. Twice I have to get up and pour my own coffee... waiter saw me and just ignored me. The yogurt jar is not big and always empty..nobody refilling it."

"This restaurant is a local treasure- I almost do not want to review because I love how quaint it is and don't want it to get so busy I cannot get in:) The owners are a husband and wife who make every item fresh in front of you- the salads with fresh grilled meats are addictive but their hamburgers and fries and tacos are huge and delicious as well. It is on jacarandas a little street not on the main drag but walking distance to the beach. I cannot say enough about how much we love sitting at this rooftop restaurant enjoying the sights and sounds of wonderful Puerto Vallarta. It is so reasonably priced as well we went back as often as we could. Oh and gluten free options are abundant!!!!!"
